I know I’ve mentioned a Royal Hawaiian re-opening deal in a previous round-up, but I thought this deal was worth repeating. To honor the original hotel opening in 1927, the famous “Pink Palace” is offering a special re-opening rate of $19.27 for the first night and then a minimum rate of $450 per night for at least three more nights. For a four-night stay, your rate would average $342 per night, which is not a bad deal for this swank Waikiki resort with rates that typically average closer to $600 per night.
If I’m not mistaken, I believe the deal has been sweetened since it was originally announced. In addition to the lower rate, you’ll also get dinner for two at the new Azure Restaurant, Mai Tais for two at the famous Mai Tai Bar, and a special memento gift.
To take advantage of this deal, you must travel between January 20th and June 30, 2009. This deal is subject to availability, so if you are interested, you’d better reserve sooner rather than later. For special rate code and more details, visit the hotel’s Web site.
