The event is open to professional and amateur photographers of all skill levels. The Kona Classic includes daytime dives, competition, and educational seminars covering all aspects of underwater photography. Participants will have opportunities to learn from such top professional photographers and videographers as Marty Snyderman, David Fleetham and Doug Perrine. These experts have won Emmys and had their underwater images published in numerous magazines and calendars.
Entry fee for the Kona Classic is $395. The Keauhou Beach Resort is hosting the event. The hotel is offering Kona Classic participants a special room rate of $130 per night for a partial ocean view room, based on single or double occupancy.
