Kauai Tubing and Zip Line Adventures

Kauai Backcountry Adventures offers a tubing adventure through the irrigation system  of a former sugar cane plantation.  Tubers will float down gentle waters for about 1.5 miles through private land.  Their website says that the tour “includes spectacular views of the ocean, coastline, mountains and valleys.”  The waters originate from the wettest place on earth near the top of Mount Waialeale.  This tubing tour sounds like a pretty relaxing trip that the whole family can do together.  It is for ages 5 and up and those who weigh less than 300 lbs.  Tours cost $99 plus tax and it includes shuttling to the put in point, tube, gloves, a headlamps (for the tunnels) and a buffet lunch.

If tubing is too slow paced for you, maybe you would be interested in the adrenaline rush you might get from a zip line adventure.  Kauai Backcountry Adventures also offers zip line adventures for $120 plus tax per person including lunch.  You need to be 12 years or older and between 100 and 250 lbs.  Just Live also offers zip lining tours as well, including a night time full moon tour.  Their tours are for ages 9 and up with a weight between 70 and 275 lbs.
