Enter to win camera accessories!

Photographers capturing sunset at the summit of Haleakala, Maui.

We have some great camera accessories to giveaway! We have two prize packs and both of them include tripods. As you may recall, our award-winning photographer Andy gives five great reasons why a tripod helps you take better photos in Hawaii.

The first prize shown in the above photo includes:

  • 60″ Pro Series Tripod for cameras and camcorders.
  • Camera Carrying Case
  • Camera Strap
  • Memory Card Wallet
  • USB Card Reader
  • Camera Cleaning Kit
The second prize shown below includes a 57-inch tripod.

We give you one of two ways to enter to win one of these prize packs.

1. If you’ve been to Hawaii, send us a photo from your Hawaii vacation that can be used for our Aloha Friday Photo series. Upload your photo to our Facebook page or email your photo to GoVisitHawaii at Gmail dot com. Please make sure to note your name and home town/state and any story behind the photo. If you upload your photo via Facebook, please also mention that you are entering the contest. As a reminder we are unable to use photos with a person or persons as the main focus of the shot.

2. If you’ve not been to Hawaii, enter a comment in the comment section of this post to tell us what you’re most looking forward to capturing by photo in Hawaii. Please use your real name (first names only are okay for the comments) and valid email address so that we can contact you if you are chosen as a winner. Please note that your email address will not display in the comments.

One entry per person will be accepted. Submit your entry by Friday, April 7, 2017. Winners will be selected at random.

All entries were numbered. Then we used a random number generator to select the two winners. Congratulations to Reb and to Karl.

  4. Planning a trip in October of 2018.
Would really like to capture a sunset picture with silhouetted palm trees as well as a nice angled shot of the mountains, ocean, and more palm trees (in the daytime).

  5. Going to Maui this November…planning on taking LOTS of photos, starting on day 2 with sunrise on Haleakala, then from my lanai in my oceanfront condo in Kapalua, The Road to Hana, snorkeling, the bamboo forest…when I went to Alaska I came home with 8,000 photos…I expect to double that on this trip! Can’t wait!

  6. I want to see volcano in Big island, it must be a very fantastic view, and it is one of my bucket list

Planning a 25th anniversary trip this year to Maui. Looking forward to taking pictures of the sunsets on the beach and of all the beautiful flowers! Instead of a “selfie”, we’ll take some “couplies” of my husband and myself with all of the beautiful scenery!

  8. We will be there April 29th. I’m excited to take pictures of everything! Kristi

  9. I can’t wait to visit the Islands and from what I have heard the sunsets and sunrises are unbelievable and I want to be in the peak spot to capture both. Maui I understand has several colors of sand and really want to check these out.

  10. Going to Oahu in May. Hoping to some good sunrise/sunset shots. Need a good tripod!

  11. Going to Maui and the Big Island nest February to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Hoping to photograph whales and the volcano. Looking forward to our trip

  12. Mahalo for all the entries. We gathered them all together — from email, comments, and facebook posts. We numbered each one and used a random number generator to select the winners.

Congratulations to Reb and to Karl as our randomly chosen winners.
