Aloha Friday Photo: Duke Kahanamoku Statue

Mahalo to David Stallabrass for sending this photo from his Oahu vacation to our facebook page. David shared this comment about his trip, “Simply amazing, fantastic place, love Hawaii.” We agree! Review: Experiencing Travaasa Hana

Adventure balanced with relaxation is what we found from our stay at Travaasa Hana. Mornings would be filled with activities like hiking and horseback riding. We’d make our way to the spa for a massage in the afternoon or head to beautiful Hamoa Beach for a catnap under a shade tree. Then, after dinner, we’d either listen to the live ... Read More »

(I really like that ordering of priorities and I’ll write more on that in the future.) The Grand Opening certainly highlighted Hawaiian culture with traditional chanting, ceremonial conch ... Floating in Paradise at Disney’s Aulani Resort

While banking curves as I sped down the waterslide, I felt like a kid again. I’m sure I momentarily reverted back to grade school-level silliness as I tried to push Andy into one of the drenching waterfall stations. It was a giggle-filled blast on the Waikolohe Streams at Aulani! Andy created a nice little video montage of our time on ... Read More »
