St Regis Princeville Photo Collection

Shortly after St Regis Princeville Resort opened after a multi-million dollar renovation and rebranded into the swank St Regis collection, Shane Eubanks wrote a guest post reviewing the resort. Since that review, Andy and I have also had an opportunity to stay at this luxe North Shore Kauai resort. There’s no need for me to reinvent the wheel with a new review since Shane did such a fine job. I do want to share photos from our stay to compliment Shane’s review.

We’ll start this photo parade with one of my favorite shots that Andy has ever taken. Here’s a hammock at the beach by the St Regis Princeville.

We enjoyed scoping out the tidepools one morning. In this photo you see the tidepools in the foreground and the St Regis Princeville in the background. From this photo, you can tell that the resort has a unique structure in that it’s built into a cliff.

We really enjoyed dining at the romantic Makana Terrace. In fact, we had breakfast there twice and dinner two times, as well during our brief three-night stay. The view here is truly outstanding! If you are looking for a special restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, honeymoon, or just romance, Makana Terrace is perfect. The following photo is of a tropical drink at dinner.

Here’s another view from dinner at Makana Terrace, with the sun on its way in for a dip in the ocean.

Other than the pampering that comes with a luxury resort, our very favorite thing about staying at St Regis Princeville was the view. We never gave up an opportunity to savor the scenery. Hopefully our photos show you why we felt that way.

As you would expect from a St Regis property, the guest rooms are luxurious with high quality linens, spacious living quarters, a foyer-type entry, and marble bath. I won’t bore you with the room photos in this post, but you can see them here.

  1. Hello!

What a wonderful site you have, very informative! I’ve been doing a lot of research and was hoping you might have some advice. My fiance and I are trying to plan a 10-12 day trip for about 20 people to Kauai and Maui and were looking for a trip planning service to help plan an itinerary but have not had any luck. We also are planning a very small wedding but are not interested in a wedding company because it will not be extravagant in any way and maybe just need a wedding planner through the travel agency for some details on the one special day but our main focus is the whole trip. Any advice on travel groups/agencys in Hawaii that may be able to help? Any info would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

    Take Care,
    Anna

    1. Also, Anna – two travel agencies that do a lot of Hawaii business are Pleasant Holidays and Apple Vacations. They can arrange group travel and I believe PH offers wedding planning.
