And now, a thank you to our supporters….

Pink GingerI’d like to take a moment to thank the Hawaii businesses that advertise on Go Visit Hawaii. Their support of Go Visit Hawaii makes it possible for me to provide you with free advice. So, if you have Hawaii vacation needs that match any of the advertisers below, please show your support by visiting their site.

Discount Hawaii Car Rental – After Discount Hawaii Car Rental helped us save around $100 last year on a week-long car rental on Maui, we always get a quote from them. I don’t know how they do it but they get the cheapest rates. I recommended them to my friend Melanie, who is headed to Maui over Easter Weekend. She was very pleased with the quote and tweeted that she booked a convertible for $20 less per day than what she expected. Yay, I love helping people save money on their Hawaii vacations!

Polynesian Cultural Center – Years before the Polynesian Cultural Center began advertising with Go Visit Hawaii, I became a fan. In fact, I wrote this review – Polynesian Cultural Center – A Hawaii Must Do! — in June 2007. Personally I can’t wait to see their new evening show, Ha – Breath of Life. By all accounts I’ve heard and read, the new show is exceptional.

Hawaii Tours –  Hawaii Tours provides a number of well-priced tours across all islands. They even offer some great island hopping day trips that take all the hassle out of the planning and logistics. For example, they offer day trips to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor and other island highlights. They also offer day trips over to the Big Island to see Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Hotel Lanai – This small inn is as cute as a button and is a very affordable option for visiting luxurious Lanai. Hotel Lanai located in the heart of Lanai in Lanai City. They also have an excellent restaurant with a menu designed by one of my favorite Hawaii chefs, Beverly Gannon.

P.S. None of these advertisers have specifically paid for this post. I’m just delighted to share these great companies with you. And, as always you can trust that my advice is going to be independent and unbiased as I strictly separate editorial content from advertising.

  1. I won’t object to you giving them a little extra link love! The fact that they recognize the worth of a blogger like yourself is reason enough to give them some cyber hugs!

  2. Thank you for posting that information on Discount Hawaii Car Rentals – I have always been a bit of a sceptic, and I was hesitant to book online, so I phoned them – they were incredibly helpful and friendly – they answered every question, and I felt completely comfortable booking my Island car rentals – and they indeed saved me quite a bit of money – I checked with the car company myself direct – I was amazed at the difference in price. I will use them again – I will probably even go online now. Again, thanks for the heads up!!!!!
