* Hawaiian Airlines announced the name of their new turboprop fleet – Ohana by Hawaiian. This new fleet will provide transportation to Lanai and Molokai from Honolulu later this year.

* Larry Ellison purchased Island Air. We are glad to hear of this news as the airline really needs new leadership and investment.

    I’m going to speculate they plan to create some cool package deals that make going to Lanai more affordable.

      By the way, we had dinner with Larry Ellison on Saturday. Well, not exactly at his table, but we were in the same restaurant (One Forty at Four Seasons Lanai at Manele Bay) at the same time. So, that counts, right? 😉
