  1. I love driving to Hana – although I must admit that I had only driven myself once. Most of the time, my husband is driving and I am enjoying the marvelous view! But the time I drove myself was also an experience of it’s own – the many turns I had to do 🙂 – good thing I was not in a rush – I took my time, and if there are cars behind me who are in a rush – I let them pass. hey, I was there to enjoy the ride 🙂

Pipiwai Trail or the Bamboo Forrest is one of my most favorite hikes on Maui. Love going through the bamboos and ending up in a waterfall. A tropical delight!

  2. 2 more months and we’ll be driving the road to Hana again. After 5 years not beeing on the Hawaiian Islands it’s about time to come back!

  3. This Summer we went to Maui and the road to Hana. I was not doing the driving, but the undisturbed viewing. It was beautiful and a great site and I am looking forward to going back!
