Honolulu Magazine’s 2011 Best Hawaii Restaurant Award Winners

Each year, HONOLULU Magazine recognizes Hawaii’s top restaurants through their prestigious Hale Aina Awards. The 2011 award winners have just been announced and will be featured in their January issue. In the meantime, here’s a snippet of the award winners by island.

Best Oahu Restaurant

Silver – Le Bistro
Bronze – Azure

Best Maui Restaurant
Gold – Pineapple Grill
Silver – Lahaina Grill
Bronze – Mama’s Fish House
Top 5 – Casanova’s Italian Restaurant
Top 5 – Mala Ocean Tavern

Pineapple Upside Down Cake from Maui’s gold award-winning Pineapple Grill was worth the trip alone.

Best Kauai Restaurant
Gold – The Beach House Restaurant
Silver – Mediterranean Gourmet
Bronze – Kaua‘i Grill
Top 5 – Red Salt
Top 5 – Bar Acuda

Gold – Merriman’s Waimea
Silver – Kaleo’s Bar & Grill
Bronze – Huggo’s
