If you’ll be visiting beautiful Kauai this July 4th, you’ll find a couple of excellent, family-friendly Independence Day celebrations. Best of all, both celebrations include great fireworks displays!

21st Annual Concert in the Sky –  At the Vidinha Soccer Field in Lihue, you’ll find games, food, live entertainment and fireworks on July 4th. The celebration begins at 4pm with continuous live music with an excellent lineup of performers including John Cruz. This event is an annual fundraiser for Kauai Hospice, so a modest entrance fee is required. See more information about this event and how to purchase tickets here.

July 4th Fireworks and Celebration in Kekaha  — The small town of Kekana on Kauai’s westside  will host a free Independence Day celebration including games, rides, crafts, cultural displays, and live music followed by fireworks. The festivities begin at 10am at Faye Ballpark, but if you are feeling energetic, you can join in their fun run at 6:30am.
