They both feel remote and beacon you to slow down and savor your surrounds. However, on Lanai, you savor in swank digs. :-) There are only three hotels on the entire island of Lanai and two of those are Four Seasons. In my opinion, they are two of the better luxury values in all of Hawaii. Since I know we're both Regent Mariner fans, I think you'd like Lanai. We also find Moloka'i to be relaxing although there's not a resort like the Four Seasons located there. I hope you'll be reporting more on Lana'i. Glad you survived the ice storm. They are scary! Looking out the window was like watching an action film. As the weight of the ice snapped trees and limbs, the sound effect was like that of shooting guns.
