September Inter-island Flight Sale

Waikiki at night

If you’re headed to Hawaii this September and have a hankering to island hop, you’ll find great flight deals from Hawaiian Airlines, Mokulele Airlines, and go! Airlines. With the sale, you can fly from $24.99 one-way plus nominal fees. Click on each of the three links above to learn all the details to take advantage of this sale.

Want to island hop, but you don’t know what’s feasible? In general, island hopping to or from Oahu is the easiest logistically, since the vast majority of flights connect in Honolulu (HNL). Wondering what to do if you island hop? I’ve got good news, I’ve compiled guides on what to see and do on each island with just one day.

Are you going to Hawaii in September? Will you take advantage of these inter-island fare deals?

    1. @ Patrick – yeah, it appears that the airlines have pulled those specials. Perhaps using a tool like kayak.com or farecompare.com could help you find the lowest available fare that fits with your schedule.

  1. Are there any cheap flights between Oahu, Big Island & Maui from Dec. 27 – Jan. 9? Is it cheaper to buy flights in packages of tickets?

    1. Ruth Ann – There aren’t any special inter-island deals that have been announced for that period, but that’s not to say that there won’t be a deal. It depends on the demand. If you use a gauge of about $50 per person per flight and can find something close to that, you’re getting a good deal at this point in time. My advice would be to use a site like Kayak.com or Expedia.com using multiple destinations to help you find the best available price. My husband and I are flying from Honolulu to Lanai to Hilo and then back to Honolulu close to the same time frame you’ve mentioned. We found our best deal through Expedia. Hope you find great fares!
