  1. I like your post. Very informative as it enables travelers to save money for their airfare if they will take advantage of the price off. Keep posting.

    1. Hi Kris – I bet you’ll be able to find one. Do keep an eye on them and sign up for free Kayak, airfarewatchdog and Farecompare alerts. I was just looking through my Kayak e-mail this morning and it’s showing $461 RT from Raleigh to Honolulu in September. That’s an very, very good deal.

Did you by chance see the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua deal I posted this week? If I hadn’t just gotten back from Maui, I’d be jumping on that. We have stayed in Kapalua condos and fell in love with that area. You can’t walk to Whalers Village from there, but you can walk to the cute Honolua store and two of what I think are Maui’s best restaurants are in Kapalua.

  2. I had Kayak setup for awhile, but for some reason, it didn’t renew my alerts even though I chose to do so. Been meaning to go back and re-enter everything.

Of all the places we’ve spent an extended amount of time on, we’re still Kapalua newbies. We’re hoping to make the drive all the way around West Maui on one of our next trips, so we’ll be sure to spend sometime there, too.
