Here are the news nuggets on this Saint Patrick’s Day.

*  The Hawaii Superferry doesn’t seem to have the luck of the Irish on their side. Yesterday, the Hawaii Supreme Court ruled that the Hawaii Superferry should not operate before the completion of the environmental impact report. Subsequently, the ferry company is suspending operations. If you have purchased ferry tickets, please see this Hawaii Superferry Web site to learn how you can get a refund. *  I was recently reviewing the Turtle Bay Resort special offers and did some comparison shopping. I think their North Shore Ocean Plus – 7th Night package is a very nice value. The package includes 7th night free in ocean front room, breakfast for two daily in the Palm Terrace and tickets to the Polynesian Cultural Center Luau. As an example of this deal, an ocean front king room will coast $278 per night plus taxes and the resort fee. This is a beautiful resort on the peaceful North Shore of Oahu. It’s a real gem!
