In today’s news: awards, planes, and waves, oh my!

• Conde Nast Traveler named the 2008 readers’ choice award winners.  Take a look at the Top Islands list you will see the Hawaiian Islands well represented in the winners’ circle.  Also check out the Top 25 Hawaii Resorts in this list.
• Interisland carrier, Mokulele Airlines, announced plans to expand their fleet and  interisland operations.  It’s nice to have more options.  I wonder if a mini-fare war may be on the horizon?
